These soft vintage colors in this drawing remind me of our family trips to the Cape and that is likely why I love the beach in Southampton so much. I chose this linen matting because it complements the texture of the pastel beautifully. There are fine lines to bring the eye into the scene, but really the overall sense feels dreamy and reminiscent. The piece belongs in a quiet, restful place.
