Lying as flat as possible in a field of grass and wildflowers, I look up to see the vastness of the sky and smell the array of sweet flowers and grass surrounding me. I am so small. I feel lost, but I don't feel troubled. Then the bugs come, and I am drawn back to reality. As a child, those feelings are easy to embrace when you know they are linked to the brief moment you are experiencing. My childhood memories are good and I am thankful.
