BEING PRESENT

This imagined landscape comes out of a need for quietness. As I began to think about the colour palate, and the kind of landscape that would be calming to my soul, I could see a darker foreground (resembling my heaviness) meeting up to a land that is blanketed with warm, inviting hues. There are hints that this is a setting close to still waters. A landscape calling me to join it in this moment of peaceful awareness. The dense air keeps me there, calming my senses, yet heightening my need to release and be refreshed. What a place to be.
