FAITHFULNESS

A pear study with more of a renaissance feel. These two pears have a long, rich history. They have been through much together. The contrasting background symbolizes the heights and depths that Christ can bring about through the covenant of marriage. I love how the heads of these pears bend to each other in a way that is honouring and considerate. Pears symbolize fruitfulness, divine sustenance and longevity.
