FOUR SISTERS

I was looking at this panel one day, and saw these figures emerge. Drawing them out with a charcoal stick, I collaborated with the wood grain to give them fluidity and liveliness. I returned to this piece with fresh eyes and began to simplify and form shapes a week later. This piece has a very natural and unique style. I see four different personalities here, yet all linked together.
