These soft vintage colours in this drawing remind me of our family trips to the Cape and that is likelt why I love the beach in Southampton so much. I chose this linen matting because it compliments the texture of the pastel so beautifully. Thre are fine lines to bring the eye into the scene, but really the overall sense feels dreamy and reminiscent. The piece belongs in a quiet, restful place. Welcome summer!
